Skin – Gut Connection
When the gut and the prolific bacteria whom call it home become imbalanced, we can see signs of this externally through our skin.
The connection between the skin and gut is known as the gut-skin axis.
In beautiful reflection, when our gut and bacteria are in good health, we can see the beautiful expression of this balance through radiant and supple skin.
In this class you will learn about the role of the microbiome on the gut-skin axis and the impact of various lifestyle choices have directly on the microbiome. We will explore herbs/spices that support the gut-skin axis and how to use them as well as discuss the role of skin-care products, ingredients and how that affects the overall system.
